Embattled pop star Michael Jackson is eyeing a collaboration with rapper 50 Cent.
The first fruit of a potential pairing would likely appear on a mixtape spearheaded by DJ Whoo Kid, a member of 50 Cent’s crew, who told Billboard.com he is heading to Bahrain in two weeks to take possession of tracks Jackson has been working on in his home studio.
50 Cent’s spokesperson said the rapper has made no commitment to appear on the mixtape — a DJ-produced compilation popular in the hip-hop world — or on Jackson’s next studio album, which will be released on his new Two Seas label.

Ellen Barkin has taken over as the franchise’s leading lady, and now Al Pacino has been added to the cast of Warner Bros.’ Ocean’s Thirteen.
Pacino and Barkin will now join the returning gang from the first two Ocean’s movies, including George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle and Bernie Mac. Details of the script for the third film, penned by Brian Koppelman and David Levien, are being kept close to the vest, but Daily Variety reports that Warner Bros., the studio behind the project, revealed that Pacino will play Willie Banks, the owner of a high-profile Las Vegas casino.
