It seems that Prince has sent in his lawyers to get all files featuring his name removed from Youtube and eBay. The ‘Purple Rain’ singer is launching legal action against Google Inc. - the owner of the video-sharing website - for copyright infringement, the unauthorized use of his music and video recordings. He would be the first artist to stand up to the internet scams.
A statement released on the star’s behalf, said: “Prince believes that as an
artist, the music rights must remain with the artist and copyrights should
be protected across the board.” The artist added that he doesn’t accept the fact that YouTube has no controll over what is being published on the website.
The statement continued: “YouTube are clearly able to filter porn and
pedophile material but appear to choose not to filter out the unauthorized
music and film content which is core to their business success.”
Prince also wants to sue eBay and Pirate Bay,auction sites, who are
accused of encouraging music piracy.

Previous photos had him looking smart in a fashionable suits, but the company has decided to get some clothes off and present the handset next to a naked David Beckham. Does anybody have any objections?…Of course not. Smart move Motorola.

Rosie O’Donnell will release her second memoir “Celebrity Detox” on October the 9th. The book will focus on the struggles with leaving fame behind. She admits that “Fame it is, in fact, a drug”. She confided that she has had “an interesting year,” and a lot of it will be in her new book. O’Donnell said her long-delayed memoir on fame will not be ”vindictive” or ”mean-spirited,” but will offer a candid look at her very public life.
“The Insider” has acquired a copy of the controversial book and it seems that every page reveals stunning things. Some of the hot topics treated is her painful childhood. On page 186, she writes that she used to break her limbs when she was a child:
“My hands and fingers usually. No one knew. My secret.” Why? “Proof,” she confeses, “that I had some value, enough to be fixed.” And later, Rosie cryptically adds, “There were many benefits to having a cast. In the middle of the night, it was a weapon.”
She also covers the Donald Trump episode and describes a dispute with Barbara Walters when she repeatedly called her a “liar” for not defending her in that situation. She names the mogul a ” scarecrow” and “a garden slug.”
On Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Rosie writes: “Elisabeth, antiabortion, pro Bush, pro war, believes in everything I don’t, and I believe in everything she doesn’t. She’s as slender as I am fat, as restrained as I am vociferous, as polite as I am frank,” adding, “Right from the start I could see in this slip of a girl so different from me, I could see something fierce, a fist in the frill, and I liked that. But we had no language in common.”

Lindsay Lohan’s legal saga goes on and on. In addition to the many lawsuits her family has, the ghosts of the past returned in her life. I’m talking about a legal entanglement that’s pressing her at the moment (while being in rehab), the suit made against her by the other driver in her October 2005 car accident.
A judge refused Tuesday to dismiss portions of a lawsuit against the 21-year-old actress over an October 2005 accident in which her jet black Mercedes-Benz collided with a van making an U turn on the street. Superior Court Judge Michael L. Stern rejected a motion that argued the lawsuit lacked legal sufficiency, and set April 7 for the trial.
The California Highway Patrol concluded that Raymundo Ortega, a busboy, caused the accident by making an illegal U-turn, but he sued Lohan and is asking for at least $200,000 in damages. Raymundo Ortega is claiming that the star admitted to have had a couple of drinks before the accident took place. However, LInsday’s lawyers reject this story sustaining that there is no evidence of Linsady being intoxicated with alcohol. Even though the actress provided the story of her being chased by paparazzi when the accident took place, further police investigation had no prove of this being the cause of the crash.
