People magazine has handed “The Sexiest Man of the Year” Award to Matt Damon, (who we’re sure is overjoyed)and we’re glad to see Matt finally get the People Cover recognition he deserves
People Magazinehas voted also Javier one of 2007’s Sexiest Men of the Year.
After seeing that recent shot of him in a leg-locking horizontal clutch with Penélope Cruz on a beach in the Maldives, who could deny the Spaniard is a sex symbol? Well, he could. “It just makes me laugh,” says Bardem, 38, who’s starring in Love in the Time of Cholera and No Country for Old Men. “I see a guy who looks like he’s been beaten with a baseball bat.” At least Bardem acknowledges that he has a certain seductive intensity. “Once you start to get older, you have to focus and be passionate about life day after day.”

Last year he brought sexy back; this year he’s exchanging some of his bravado for irresistible charm. At the VMAs he gave props to young R&B singer Chris Brown, saying he “reminded me how much I’m getting older,” and he’s been poking fun at himself during his world tour. “My parents instilled in me the mindset of always being humble,” the 26-year-old told London’s Daily Telegraph, “so I’d like to believe all the teen idol stuff went in one ear and out the other.”

In order to get into character, Justin Timberlake went to see the man he will play in the movie, a real-life murderer.

“You’re talking about someone who for four years had been in a penitentiary and was serving a life sentence. I don’t think he had any perspective on me playing him.
He was a person who was very misunderstood and very remorseful, but you get one life to do things right and he didn’t.”

It seems Justin Timberlake broke up with Cameron Diaz. The reason ? Well she’s 33 and wants to settle down, wants a family. Justin is just 24 and he still wants some freedom to do whatever he wants (last 3 he was with Diaz).
An inside source says:” few weeks back, Justin and his buddies took off for a few days in Las Vegas and Cameron went chasing after him. She was just too clingy.”
That doesn’t look like freedom to me :). Oh well, I’ve never liked them as a couple.

The singer-turned-actor will have to beef up to play a Rambo-style American Iraq War hero in Stop Loss. Producers were worried he wouldn’t be macho enough to convince US audiences he was a tough soldier. The storyline is similar to the one made famous by SYLVESTER STALLONE as John Rambo in 1982 box office smash First Blood and its sequels. Justin will play returning war hero who quits the forces. The army wants him back but he refuses.

Hah, Justin Timberlake in the role of a fierce war hero. Hard to belive, VERY HARD. He looks more like a victim Rambo could save, than the saviour.
We’ll wait and see if he could do the tought guy action, or he should have settled with a gay role in Brokeback Mountain 2
