Michelle Williams wants some privacy
Heath Ledger’s unexpected death is already known by everyone. Heath was 28 when he died in New York City on January 22. The initial autopsy proved “inconclusive”. He left behind a mourning family, one fiancee, Michelle, and most important, his 2 year old daughter, who he absolutely adored.
Michelle Williams, released a statement yesterday through her publicist speaking out for the first time about dealing with the death of Ledger. She is asking that she be allowed to grieve privately and states that her “heart is broken”.
“Please respect our need to grieve privately. My heart is broken. I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father. All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day. His family and I watch Matilda as she whispers to trees, hugs animals, and takes steps two at a time, and we know that he is with us still. She will be brought up with the best memories of him.”
And indeed there are moments when we should really understand and give them some space. After all they are humans also.

Sarkozy loses France’s faith
While American politicians always quietly pursue the lucrative but controversial support of Hollywood, French President Nicolas Sarkozy threw caution to the wind and dove headfirst into the fray of celebrity. The consequences have been severe.
After marrying model-cum-singer Carla Bruni, Sarkozy has seen his approval rating drop precipitously, from 54 percent to 41 percent in January alone. The citizenry apparently found the couple’s courtship, which lasted all of three months, boorish.
“He is vulgar, rude and not in the right role as president of the republic,” a leftist sympathizer was quoted as saying in the LH2 survey. A rightist voter said: “He is seen as a popstar when that isn’t at all his job.”
In all, 76 percent of those questioned disapproved of the way his private life had been put on display for all to see.
Of course, it’s hard to hear the haters when in bed with your supermodel wife. Bonne chance, Sarko!

Remember the campaign of PETA that shows a lot of celebrities naked on posters. Roselyn Sanchez is the latest celebrity to get her clothes of for animal rights in the fur debate.
The sexy Without a Trace star has posed naked in a poster for the anti-fur campaign by PETA. She follows in the footsteps of Eva Mendes, Christina Applegate and Pamela Anderson who have took part in similar campaigns for the organisation. I know. Who would have imagined a blond like Pam without a “fabulous” fur coat?
Roselyn is pictured pressed up against a shop window with the New York street behind her. Her modesty is barley covered by her long wavy hair and some cleverly placed text. I bet the guys are waiting for some miracles from the Photoshop. Dream on!
The poster reads ‘I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur’ and is designed to send a message to the fashion industry and shoppers about the cruelty involved in using animal fur to make clothes. I really hope that this campaign shows results and I admire all the celebrities that encourage PETA’s work.

Eva Mendes serves rehab
What about this?The astonishing Eva Mendes,the amazing latino beauty, has checked into a rehabilitation facility in Utah.
A spokesman for Mendes declined to confirm the report but issued a statement saying the 33-year-old actress had taken time off to “attend to some personal issues.”I wonder what does this mean in “celebrity language”
“Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support,” said the statement from spokesman Brad Cafarelli. And the translation: ” Eva got sick of all this bullshit and decided to drink her brains out”.
Celebrity website TMZ.com said Mendes had checked into the Cirque Lodge rehab center in Utah, which is the same facility in which actress Lindsay Lohan sought help late last year.
The news of Mendes’ stint in rehab came on the same day that Calvin Klein Inc said Mendes would be featured in an upcoming advertising campaign for Calvin Klein Fragrances.
“We support Eva during this difficult time and respect her decision to seek professional help,” Calvin Klein Inc said in a statement.

Wesley Snipes gets rid of the tax fraudSource
Wesley Snipes’ attorneys admitted his ideas were crazy — that Americans have no obligation to pay taxes and the IRS cannot legally collect them.
But the star of the “Blade” vampire trilogy was the victim of crooked advisers, promoters of the tax protest movement, they argued, and a jury apparently agreed.
Snipes was acquitted Friday of federal tax fraud and conspiracy, but jurors found him guilty on three misdemeanor counts of failing to file a tax return.”There was no intent to defraud anybody — he’s not a fraudster, he’s not a felon,” defense attorney Robert Barnes said. “There’s a couple of returns he should have filed. He’ll be looking to make amends on anything he needs to make amends on.”
Snipes faces up to three years in prison, and is still liable for millions in taxes likely to be pursued in civil court. He had faced up to 16 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
Snipes paid taxes in the 1990s, but changed his mind after meeting Kahn, prosecutors said. He refused to file tax returns from 1999-2004, during which he signed two contracts for more than $10 million on “Blade” sequels, they said.Snipes used bizarre arguments to justify his position, saying the IRS’ own code meant income earned in this country wasn’t taxable, and the agency had no legal authority because it’s not a proper government entity.
The actor sat emotionless as the verdict was read, then nodded as his lawyer gave him a congratulatory pat on the leg. Afterward, he refused to talk to reporters who camped outside the courthouse for three days as jurors deliberated.

We are all still shocked after the unusual death of Heath Ledger. In this moments it makes you wonder if it is really all about fame and money. It is enough to see a case similar to that of Britney Spear’s decline or other celebrity failures and you’ll never consider wanting to have their life instead of yours.

The Rolling Stones Movie Musical
In perhaps the first instance of Hollywood really lazily attempting to copy a successful film by doing a half-assed, predictable follow-up film, the creators of “Across The Universe” announced they are setting their sights on a Rolling Stones musical:
Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais, writers of last year’s Beatles-inspired musical “Across the Universe,” are working on a new animated film. This time, though, they’re setting their sights on the music of another legendary 60’s rock band – the Rolling Stones.
Like most animated films, the duo said that Ruby Tuesday would probably take several years to complete. The film will feature a “pretty hip” style of CGI animation, and will be made in Paris, La Frenais told MovieWeb.com.
Hmm… A Rolling Stones musical interpreting all the songs really literally and riding the momentum of “Across The Universe”? That might be a great movie idea if it weren’t the the exact plan applied for “Across the Universe”. Folks, we should have a serious discussion about creativity and originality. However, I bet that the box-office sales will definetely give you a lesson.

Kate Moss is suing Pete Doherty to prevent him from releasing a sex tape the two made during their cocaine-fueled relationship. Page Six reports:
The Babyshambles frontman is negotiating with Britain’s ITV2 network to tell all about their romance and share his home videos of her in a documentary titled “Kate & Pete: A Love Story.” Doherty, who split with Moss last summer, could make $1 million, a source said, adding, “Producers hope he’ll let them use a lot of film he and Kate shot on camcorders.”
What kind of idiot pays $1 million to show footage of Pete Doherty naked? That’s the worst business investment I’ve ever heard in my life. Sure, there’d be some nude Kate Moss in it, but that’s not worth the price of seeing Pete Doherty’s pee wee. No one wants to see that. Well, except maybe Amy Winehouse.

Amy Winehouse makes herself comfortable, adjusting her high heels on her way to visit hubby Blake Fielder-Civil in prison in London, England on Thursday. She looks like she’s a hair away from some really terrifying pictures as she engages in battle with her shoe. With her usual cigarette, she prepares to jam her needle-scarred feet into some very uncomfortable-looking high-heels (fascinating view).
