Jay-Z Comes Back from His Rap Retirement
The J-HOVA, Jay-Z told the world in 2003 that “The Black Album” is his last hip-hop album, and that he was gonna retire and take care only of the production part of the music industry.
It seems he had a sudden change of mind and the new H.O.V.A. album will hit the stores this fall.
The name of the new rap album is “Kingdom Come”.
Shawn Carter (real name of Jay-Z) spoke about his decision:
“I believed it, yeah. I believed it for two years.”
“Something, when you love it, is always tugging at you and itching, and I was putting it off and putting it off. I started fumbling around to see if it felt good”
My opinion ? No one, in his right mind would turn down couple of million dollars every year. Yeah, the producing brings money, but why not make an extra buck, right Jay-Z ?
