LL Cool J gets lifetime achievement award
Rap supremo LL Cool J has been honoured at the annual ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Music awards for his outstanding contribution to hip hop.
LL picked up this year’s Golden Note prize for his 20-year career and said: “I mean I’m receiving a lifetime achievement award.
“It’s kind of surreal you know? It’s like a fantasy. You don’t know what to take from it because it blind sides you. I’m just very thankful. I feel blessed, I feel lucky.”
I don’t know he’s that good, but anyway he has a very longeviv career
