Owen Wilson doesn’t talk yet about his suicide attempt

As I have mentioned these days, Owen Wilson was supposed to appear on MySpace Friday night in an interview with his friend/director Wes Anderson. Everybody thought that he might be revealing the story behind his suicide attempt, but it seems that the two stuck to speaking about their latest film together “The Darjeeling Limited”, and no mention was made of what’s been going on with Owen.
If I come to think about it, it is obvious that the sordid tale will be saved for a Vanity Fair profile or something. That’s where big bicks are involved. How could we have thought that he’ll waste the details of his suicide attempt on the Internet?
As far as his appearance Friday, the bearded blonde looked as healthy, relaxed and charmingly disheveled as ever. On a more personal note, Wilson said that The Darjeeling Limited may be his favorite of all of their films, and of course Anderson asks why that is.
“Because…I just like the themes it’s exploring,” Wilson explained, “in the way my character says, ‘I want us to become brothers again, like we used to be.’ I really like that line and it means a lot to me. There’s a lot of stuff like that in this movie that has that feeling. There’s stuff that feels exhilarating.”
“This to me feels like the most personal one for all of us, like the most overtly personal,” Anderson agreed.
